After the Fast and the Furious trilogy, some of the fans remained curious if there will be a fourth. Well, there will be a fourth, in 2009. The sequel doesn’t have a name yet, not even a poster, but what we do know is this: it will be directed by Justin Lin; screenplay by Chris Morgan, and the main characters will be interpreted by Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Paul Walker as Brian O’Conner, and Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto.
Also, starring will be Sung Kang as Han, from “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”, and Michelle Rodriguez as Letty (from the first movie). But Han died in “Tokyo Drift” so, the action in the fourth movie must happen some time before “Tokyo Drift”.
What about the plot? After Brian let’s Dominic go at the end of the first movie, he goes to jail. He makes a deal with the authorities to help stop a crime boss named Braga who is importing heroin, using some bad ass drivers. When Brian gets a spot in a street race where Braga’s main driver will be at, they become friends, and he gets in Braga’s team. Also, Brian brings in Dominic, and they work together to put Braga behind bars. Also, if they succeed, Toretto walks. The plot is based on rumors and gossip, it is not yet official.
Good action, hot cars, crazy driving, but most of all having Paul Walker and Vin Diesel as cast will surely make the movie a hit.
The release date is set for 5 June 2009.
