Starring Christina Ricci, Reese Witherspoon and James McAvoy, “Penelope” is about a girl with a pig snout for a nose (Ricci). She seems cursed, up until someone comes to love her for her inner beauty, and then she miraculously changes into a hot chick. She doesn’t actually change, peoples opinion of her changes. So it’s basically a fairytale with a predictable ending made for middle-school girls who love these types of flicks.
